With humility and excitement, I greet you on behalf of the State Executive Board, State Program Coordinators, and our dedicated members. Together, we honor the extraordinary women who paved the way as we strategically lead Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated—State of North Carolina toward a future of impact, excellence, and empowerment.
Our more than 2,700 active Zetas and Amicae serve across 52 graduate chapters, 30 undergraduate chapters, and 33 Amicae auxiliaries, representing diverse professions including education, healthcare, law, government, social work, business, athletics, and more. Alongside over 300 youth auxiliary members—Pearlettes, Amicettes, and Archonettes—and nearly 200 members of the Zeta Male Network, our chapters deliver servant leadership in action across nearly every North Carolina county, both rural and urban.
North Carolina is home to the resting place of Triumphant Founder Pearl Anna Neal and Past Eastern Regional and State Director Millie Dunn Veasey, a proud member of the historic 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion. We also serve as the home of the 20th International President, Dr. Jylla Moore Tearte, whose “World Class Service” administration established the Zeta Male Network and Pearlettes as official affiliates. These are just a few of the legacies of extraordinary women who inspire us to lead with purpose, unity, and measurable impact.
Embracing the Extraordinary Power of S.H.E. (Social, Health, and Economic Justice), North Carolina champions initiatives that advance equity, health, and economic empowerment. Through advocacy, mentorship, and community engagement, we amplify our collective voice and expand our impact statewide.
As we honor our past and boldly shape the future, let us UNITE across generations, LEAD with intention, and THRIVE as a force for positive change. Whether you are a Zeta, Amicae, prospective member, or community partner—welcome to where history, purpose, and progress converge in the great State of North Carolina!
Dr. Veronica L. Sills
North Carolina State Director
